Dr John Puntis of Leeds KONP, patiently explained the history of NHS privatisation and the ideologies driving it, to 60 medical and care students at Leeds Medsin.

The students are concerned about what they will face in the future and Dr Puntis didn’t hold back from painting a picture of how we could be back to the awful pre NHS era.

However he also cheered them all up the end, presenting ideas and leading discussion about what can be done. Each of the political parties are using the NHS again in their campaigns and the students could see how they can talk with politicians, presenting evidence based arguments.
