Leeds Hospital Alert at Kirkstall Festival

People were queuing to sign petitions for a publicly funded NHS. Showing pictures of the NHS leaflet (you can see one in the Thackray Museum) was fascinating for younger visitors.
Leeds Hospital Alert have been campaigning in Leeds for around 30 years – their experiences are so enlightening with the local context of changes brought in by successive governments and how this impacts the NHS which they love dearly.
